We therefore only process data that we need for (improving) our services and handle the information we have collected about you and your use of our services with care. We never make your data available to third parties for commercial purposes.
This privacy policy applies to the use of the website and the services provided by Kleurmeester.nl. The starting date for the validity of these conditions is 18/05/2018, with the publication of a new version the validity of all previous versions expires. About data processing

Online store software: Shopify
Our online store was developed with software from Shopify. Personal data that you make available to us for the benefit of our services will be shared with this party. Shopify has access to your data to provide us with (technical) support, they will never use your data for any other purpose. Shopify is obliged to take appropriate security measures based on the agreement we have concluded with them. These security measures consist of the use of SSL encryption, a strong password policy and secure data storage. Shopify reserves the right to share collected data within its own group and affiliated partners to further improve services. Shopify takes into account the applicable legal retention periods for (personal) data.
Web hosting: buildnet.nl
We purchase web hosting and email services from Buildnet.nl. Buildnet.nl processes personal data on our behalf and does not use your data for its own purposes. This party can collect metadata about the use of the services. This is not personal data. Buildnet.nl has taken appropriate technical and organizational measures to prevent loss and unauthorized use of your personal data. Buildnet.nl is obliged to maintain confidentiality under the agreement. Backups are made regularly to prevent data loss.
Email and mailing lists: MailChimp
We send our email newsletters with MailChimp. MailChimp will never use your name and email address for its own purposes. At the bottom of every email sent automatically via our website you will see the 'unsubscribe' link. You will then no longer receive our newsletter. Your personal data is stored securely by MailChimp. MailChimp uses cookies and other internet technologies that provide insight into whether emails are opened and read. MailChimp reserves the right to use your data to further improve its services and to share information with third parties in this context.
We use the services of buildnet.nl for our regular business e-mail traffic. This party has taken appropriate technical and organizational measures to prevent misuse, loss and corruption of your and our data as much as possible. buildnet.nl does not have access to our mailbox and we treat all our e-mail traffic confidentially.
Payment processors: Mollie
We use the Mollie platform to process (part of) the payments in our online store. Mollie processes your name, address and residence details and your payment details such as your bank account or credit card number. Mollie has taken appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data. Mollie reserves the right to use your data to further improve the services and in this context to share (anonymized) data with third parties. All the above-mentioned guarantees with regard to the protection of your personal data also apply to the parts of Mollie's services for which they engage third parties. Mollie does not store your data for longer than is permitted by the legal periods.
Reviews: WebwinkelKeur
We collect reviews via the WebwinkelKeur platform. If you leave a review via WebwinkelKeur, you are required to provide your name, place of residence and email address. WebwinkelKeur shares this information with us so that we can link the review to your order. WebwinkelKeur also publishes your name and place of residence on its own website. In some cases, WebwinkelKeur may contact you to provide an explanation of your review. If we invite you to leave a review, we will share your name and email address with WebwinkelKeur. They only use this information for the purpose of inviting you to leave a review. WebwinkelKeur has taken appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data. Shipping and logistics: boekuwzending.com
If you place an order with us, it is our job to have your package delivered to you. We use the services of boekuwzending.com to carry out deliveries. It is therefore necessary that we share your name, address and residence details with boekuwzwending.nl. Boekuwzending.com only uses this information for the execution of the agreement. In the event that Boekuwzending.com engages subcontractors, Boekuwzending.com will also make your data available to these parties.
Purpose of data processing
We use your data exclusively for the purpose of our services. This means that the purpose of the processing is always directly related to the assignment you provide. We do not use your data for (targeted) marketing. Retention periods
We keep your data as long as you are our client. This means that we keep your customer profile until you indicate that you no longer wish to use our services. If your request is granted, we will send you a confirmation to the email address known to us that the data will no longer be processed until you cancel the restriction.
Right to portability
